Clinical Practice Training
CHPW partners with expert trainers to make sure that providers have the resources that they need to deliver the best care to members. CHPW collaborates with the Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) Managed Care Organizations to identify trainings and resources to support providers in integration efforts. These MCO Resources are hosted by the Association of Washington Healthcare Plans (AWHP). CHPW has curated additional resources below including training programs, webinars and other resources.

All Patients Safe – Suicide Prevention Training
All Patients Safe is a suicide prevention training free to all WA providers through June 2022. Register at apsafe.uw.edu. It includes the following benefits:
- Meets state licensure requirements for medical and behavioral health care providers to assist in reducing suicide through improved training
- 3-hour course for all client-facing staff
- 6-hour course for medical and other licensed professionals
- Optional CE is available for both courses for a nominal fee
Apple Health DC:0-5™ Training (MH Assessment for young children)
Free training from HCA on Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood (DC: 0 – 5™). Mental Health professionals are required to use this criteria when assessing and diagnosing children from birth through age five.
