Pain Management

At Community Health Plan of Washington, we have many resources designed to help our providers who see patients suffering from chronic pain. The University of Washington also provides a UW TelePain program. This is a free weekly continuing education program that includes didactic and case consultation to support providers in managing patients with complex pain. Below are helpful resources for pain management.

CHPW also offers an alternative treatment benefit for members! Acupuncture, chiropractic, and massage may be effective, drug-free treatments for chronic pain and other ailments including headaches, allergies, anxiety, and depression.
