The following massage therapy codes are covered through May 31, 2025: 97140, 97112, and 97110.
Beginning June 1, 2025, 97124 is the only covered code for massage therapy billed by massage therapists.
All codes listed above are timed codes.
Continue to use these quantities when billing for 97124:
- Quantity of 1 = 15 minutes = 1 visit
- Quantity of 2 = 30 minutes = 1 visit
- Quantity of 3 = 45 minutes = 1 visit
- Quantity of 4 = 60 minutes = 2 visits
