We wanted to let you know that we have added new resources to our Apple Health (Medicaid) Eligibility Changes Toolkit.
If you’re not familiar with the toolkit, we created it to help providers, community organizations, and other partners understand how recent federal changes may affect Apple Health coverage. It includes resources to help answer questions and support Apple Health members in your community.
H.R. 1, a federal law passed by Congress in 2025, makes changes to Apple Health eligibility and renewal requirements. The changes include new work requirements for some adults, more frequent renewal cycles, and limits on eligibility for some non-U.S. citizens.
The toolkit currently includes:

- Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
- Shareable informational flyers for staff and the public
- Educational blog articles
- “What Comes Next” flyer for the noncitizen eligibility change*
- Samples of state notices sent to current Apple Health members who are non-U.S. citizens*
- Shareable social media assets and suggested messaging for providers and community partners*

These materials outline who may be affected by the federal changes, an overview of what the changes are, and when they are scheduled to take effect.
