CHPW’s vision benefit for all adult Medicaid members age 21 and over is through VSP effective January 1, 2023.
We’re excited to offer a more robust vision provider network for our adult Medicaid members this year with over 800 contracted VSP providers. VSP offers a larger presence in Washington state to ensure our members are able to seek this value add benefit.
The routine eye care benefit package includes:
- Free glasses (frames and basic lenses) through VSP every 24 months.
- Low-cost upgrades and extras like progressive lenses, tinted lenses, and UV coating.
- Routine eye exams every 24 months through a VSP network provider.
