COVID-19 Diagnosis Testing for Apple Health

As a best practice, Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) follows Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) guidance on COVID-19 diagnosis testing limits and clinical policy for our Apple Health plans.
The update below applies to polymerase chain reaction (PCR; rapid) and antigen tests to diagnose COVID-19.
Effective October 1, 2021, providers are limited to 12 tests per enrollee, per month.
