What is Apple Health Expansion?
Apple Health Expansion is the name of a new state-wide program to provide health care coverage to people age 19 or older with certain immigration statuses and who earn below a certain income level.
Community Health Plan of Washington is one of the available Apple Health Expansion insurance plans to choose from.
Medical
CHPW covers services that include checkups, immunizations, lab services, OB-GYN, family planning, hospital services, specialty care, and much more.
Vision
Your eye exams are covered, as are glasses or contacts for members under age 21. As an added benefit, CHPW members 21 and over get free eyeglasses too.
Prescription Drugs
As a CHPW member, you get access to a large network of pharmacies. Many types of prescriptions are covered.
Behavioral Health
Your CHPW behavioral health coverage includes help for substance abuse and addiction, mental health conditions like anxiety and depression, and more.
Health Management
We’ll work with you to set and meet health goals, arrange appointments, connect you with local resources, and manage complex health conditions.
Community Programs
Our knowledgeable team can work with you to find resources in your community, like help with food or free rides to medical appointments.
Hearing
Routine hearing exams are covered, as well as hearing aids and hearing aid repairs.
