Summer Resources for Parents

  • Stop Summer Brain Drain
If kids don't use their brains over the summer, they lose a lot of what they worked so hard to learn over the past school year. These fun activities keep kids engaged and learning all summer long.
  • Child Care Help
With kids out of school, parents need to find somewhere safe for their kids to go while they work. Child care can be expensive. The state has a subsidy program to help with the cost of child care.
  • Summer Boys & Girls Club
Boys & Girls Clubs are open during the summer! Kids age 6-18 with a CHPW member ID care can go to participating clubs for free or a lower cost and enjoy activities, a meal or snack, and a safe environment to be with friends.
