General Assistance Unemployable (GA-U)
General
Assistance Unemployable is a pilot project in King and Pierce Counties to
help more than 8,500 GA-U clients get access to health care in the Seattle-Tacoma
urban complex. GA-U clients are single adults, with no dependents in the home,
who cannot work due to temporary disabilities. The pilot will use Community Health Plan’s managed
care network to provide and coordinate healthcare services for these clients.

Public Employees Benefits Board
Community Health Plan will not participate in the Public Employees
Benefits Board (PEBB) program after December 31, 2007, and will not be
offered as an option to PEBB enrollees in 2008.
We will reimburse covered services on or before December 31, 2007. If you (or a covered family member) are admitted to a hospital before midnight on December 31, 2007, the hospital will notify Community Health Plan. Community Health Plan will coordinate your benefits with the new medical plan you choose for 2008.
